So I feel worthy in your eyes
So I feel I'm worth your time
Right now I don't
Right now I feel dark
Scrambling around in the confusion
I want you to notice
Ask me what's wrong
I'll tell you
I trust you
And you of all people know that's big for me

Affirm me
Tell me "good job" or "I appreciate you"
I know you do
But I need you to tell me
I feel I'm letting you down every day
Tell me I'm doing something right
Tell me I'm worthy in your eyes
Tell me you care
Show me you care

I do feel the emotion of the speaker. Part of me is frustrated with this person for seeming so needy that it the emotion just seemed to say "ME. me me me me." But at the same time, I know many people feel this way. Wondering "Does this person love me? What am I doing wrong? Tell me, so I can change." Very nicely done. Congrats on the Editors' Choice.
