It's been the same
since day one,
you don't even have to think.

Everything comes
natural,
as easy as it's to blink.

You flow through time,
drift through space,
just going through the motions.

Numb to feeling,
solid stone,
afraid you will be broken.

The author's comments:
I wrote this after reading Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare. The characters in the book were in so much pain and they were all were trying to ignore it.

My only love sprung from my only hate. Too early seen unknown and known too late.

I really enjoyed this poem. I think you convey your idea very well. Keep up the good work. :)
