Rainthought
Was during maths when window closed
And pushed it open
But it shut again
And pushed it open and stuck with that latch
And started to rain.
Yellow wall outside has moss on top
Can see rain against dark-green moss
And mango tree leaves across road
Water drips from gutter
And wind snatches leaf and toss.
Now rain slackens, slows, stops.
Cool breeze through window.
