Temporary Fix
Drowning, yet again, I keep coming back to this cold dark place
My heart hurts and my body aches. So I cut,
Fast and deep.
Watching the blade make its way deeper into my skin.
Splitting
Crimson blood escaping my pale arms. Bubbling up at first, then pooling and trickling down, hitting the white tiles on the floor.
So beautiful, so demented.
I know how to do it just right, so it heels fast and leaves light scars.
I find relief, but it's never permanent. It's just a temporary fix.
