They told him he couldn’t do it.
He proved them wrong.
They told him with all those tattoos, he’d never get a job.
He proved them wrong.
As he walked up the stairs to retrieve his “graduate of the year” award,
They fell silent.
He smiled in triumph, knowing he would do whatever it takes to prove them wrong again.
