There Is Sweet Music Here MAG
There is sweet music here
Through the leaves, raindrops fall
Vaporized in sunlight
The light of the fire will keep us warm
From the cold, from the bitter wind that stings our cheeks in the early morn
I will spend one hour with God
I will wake up earlier than everybody else
I will carve your immortal face into stone
There is sweet music here
The water's reflection is not gold, but silver
Not dull, but bright
Sweet music when we gather around the fire for warmth
Singing as loud as human voices go
Risking everything except for an old T-shirt
In the language of the stars we gaze and tip and fall down
But the night's firm and gentle wind will pick us up
There is sweet music here
Here where there are no distractions
Where we float down the river
Where we fall, dive, and burn our way through the weekend
There is sweet music here
When we pack up and go
The fires still smoldering
We will drive away
Getting farther and farther from our beloved woods and river
There is sweet music here
Where the love I feel for you is always near
