Leaving
Forgotten like a pebble in the ocean
You're like a train set into motion
Always slowly fading from existence
I keep on building my resistance
Like some kind of immunization
Drifting farther from the station
As the smoke lifts into the air
So does my long, golden hair
Memories start passing by
I let out a calming sigh
Like a weight lifted from my chest
You head out to the west
The sound starts to fade away
Forgotten you will always stay
