The sad flower sits and endures the rain
She sits and waits for the bumble bee to return
While primping her petals and smoothing her leaves
She doesn’t know where the bumble bee is
Or what he is doing
But the flower knows he will return
The next day it is very hot
And the flower is even sadder
Her petals wilting
And her leaves wrinkling
“Maybe he isn’t coming back,” the flower says
“Maybe who isn’t coming” the bumble bee replied charmingly
