Falling
They are falling again.
Colors of brown, yellow, orange, and red.
The temperature is dropping rapidly, but not quite too much.
You can see your breath just like the tree branches being slowly uncovered by their beautiful fall leaves.
Falling.
Dropping with the temperature.
Perfect weather for your favorite sweater or hoodie.
Raining colors then scooping them up into piles with the old rusty rake from the shed.
Stepping outside and smelling the crisp, fresh air.
Then entering the warm cozy house with the smell of burning wood in the fireplace.
Carving your first pumpkin of the year and making it come to life with a flickering candle.
Glowing with whatever emotion you desire.
They are falling again.
Colors of brown, yellow, orange, and red.
And you know what that means.
