Alone
Do you really think that I’m lonely and self-loathing?
The reason why I’m alone is that I can take care of myself
I don’t need anybody’s help to teach me
How to get through this
Because in the end, I will have to help myself
And no one can change me or tell me what to do
Right now, I laugh at your stupidity
And smile at the thought of you thinking of this
Because it’s dumb how you can assume things
That aren’t what they seem
And jump to conclusions of my life
How I live it’s none of your business
Maybe one day I’ll see you again
And snort in your face
And say, “You’re the one who’s lonely”
Because I’ll see you walking by yourself
Muttering under your breath
A bottle in your hand
Sipping away all your memories
And pain and hurt
And I will glare at you
And mouth “Shouldn’t never done that”
