Autumn Redundancy
Leaves painted coral,
crimson,
and chestnut swirl around my feet,
sharing a laugh with the crisp,
chilly,
clear autumn breeze.
On the air,
they are tossed,
twirled,
and twisted, dancing with bliss.
Upon the brisk breath of wind,
they flourish,
flaunt,
and flutter.
Their movements are constant;
they remain redundant,
repetitive,
and repeated,
yet, they never grow dull,
drab,
or dreary.
They are, and always will be, enchanting,
enthralling,
and endearing.
