Slaves
Teens die everyday because of this,
thinking they're not good enough.
Covering up their fears with their fists,
or with a puff puff pass puff.
Then when they lose their true values,
like respect, honesty and trust,
they cover it up with more booze,
and don't care about that girl they just bust.
Then bang! Wrong place at the wrong time;
Slit wrists and overdose.
Now more teens doing more crime,
all the while turning into hoes.
We blame society,
yet we create it at will.
We give it variety,
with every critic and grill.
But still through our hypocrite ways,
we've created something
that has haunted us throughout all our days.
The only way this'll all change,
is if we change society itself.
But first how we view the world has to be rearranged,
to where values and etiquette come before wealth.
And though society allows us to believe we're the queens and kings..
In truth we are nothing but slaves
to the very things to the world we bring.
