Once lovers, now strangers
I saw you,
Your eyes,
Your smile,
The way you looked at me
And then without even realizing, I was yours.
Denying it didn’t help much,
Just made me fall in love,
How couldn’t I? After meeting such a guy
I saw you
The way you touched me,
The way you whispered:
“I love you”
I knew it was true
You’ve made me feel things I’ve never felt before
But I just wanted more
Never understood jealousy until now
I still wonder how
How I let myself get into this game
This game called love
I never planned on loving you,
Sometimes I wish I didn’t
Regretting won’t make anything better
Remembering though, is what hurts the most
I saw you
You saw me
And we fell in love.
