I know I cry a lot
For many things, like
Sad movies or bad grades,
Songs that remind me of the past,
Abandoned dreams.
Foolish things too, like
All the inexistent problems I create in my head.
But lately, I’ve been crying about
Friends we will never have back
People we once loved
Bridges that have been burned.
But there’s a reason
The past is passed.
We only have so much room in our lives,
Save it
For people that deserve it.
Chances are,
If someone is in the past,
And the hurt still lasts,
They deserve to
Stay there.
