Hunger
i look down at my full plate
though my stomach tells me yes
my mind tells me i'll regret it
I get a look across the table
their eyes are full of judgement
they just don't understand it
while they have a normal hunger
i have a hunger for something more
I have a hunger for something less
a hunger not in my stomach
but a hunger to be thinner
a hunger to be prettier
a hunger to be accepted
a hunger that will never be quenched
