Try and Find Me
Hiding in a corner,
Hoping they don’t find me,
I’m on the verge of crying,
But I can’t risk the extra noise,
I think they’re coming closer But I can’t be sure,
I hear their footsteps on the stairs,
Marching loudly all the way up
The door to my bedroom creaks open,
And they can almost see me,
Hiding under my bed,
I’m afraid they’ll catch me,
But Hiding is the only thing that can save me now,
For if they find me,
I’ll never be able to hide again.
