what seventeen actually feels like
future looms ahead of me
present purely pressures me
past is but a part of me
no one wants to know
authorities give orders to make
me eradicate the mistakes i make
even though haggard every breath i take
is an effort in itself
grades keep slipping down and down
happy days diminish to none
hope for progress is seemingly gone
bright mind fades to black
you see the demise of bright blue skies
green light finally goes out
will you help me battle the stress of existing
or will you leave me in the dark?
