War Nightmares
I scream in my sleep not because someone is hurting me but because of loud booms and bangs. I scream in my sleep cause grenades are being thrown in every direction and going off and killing my best friends in a split second. I sit in darkness repeating to myself every boom is a bomb every crack is a gun shot I've got PTDS thanks to serving lady liberty who's so sick of war that even she turned green what am I fighting for now that I'm home. My mind is on repeat on repeat of that day I lost my leg arm and three of my fingers I sit in my bed screaming in darkness i keep repeating every boom is a bomb every crack is a gun shot I've got PTSD thanks to serving lady liberty who's so sick of war that even she turn green what am I fighting for now that I'm home.
