The Worst
People always claim to look at the good,
But they never do.
Granted there are those few who actually do.
But the majority of us don't.
Because if we did,
Why do we always hear the worst in the news?
Why do we always talk about the worst?
Why do we stay to watch fights?
Why do we enjoy hearing about other's miserableness?
With all the bad things we hear all around,
Cause us to expect the worst.
It causes people to belive there is nothing better.
It causes people to do terrible things
To themselves and others.
And it's not our fault.
Human nature makes us more attentive
When we hear the worst.
We have heard about heroes,
But how many,
compared to the amount of trajedies?
Don't we have more than our fair share of such?
Why don't we spread more of the good?
Why don't we compliment each other as often
people can do great things.
We just have to open our senses a little more,
To SEE the good that is all around us.
To FEEL the kindness that brings joy.
To SHOW these feeling to others
so that they could enjoy more too.
Maybe,
Just maybe,
There could be an end to the worst.
