August Storms MAG
In the heart of August air
When the golden rays of sunshine sang melodies through ocean blue skies
And the heat ran straight through my bones
An August storm moved in,
That left me feeling like I was living through a day without waking up first.
The rains pounded against the pavement,
And smothered the sky until the blue
cowered back.
Yet even when this storm finally faded,
And August air moved back in,
I stared up at the golden rays, and the
ocean blue sky,
And was left wondering why the sky
was clear
