Dedication of the Soul

Long time having passed,
Years lost like leaves in the wind,
The arid tundra of my life,
Empty and lost,
For all of time.
Oh, how I want the heart,
A shining light in my life,
Give me purpose and meaning and so many other things,
I had without for so long,
Longer than I could remember.
The soul is what I desire,
Soul of the Earth and Sun and entire universe put together,
To finally feel something is what I want most,
To finally find love is what I need to be complete,
The love of a soul…
Is all I really need.
