Torrent of lights
No pause to feel
The pulse of the night life
Echoes of sound
Rushing tunnels and
Twitching beams
I am adrift on a concrete river.
Set the clock in fast time

Don't stop till it ends
But
It is endless.
Population 1.2 million
And desperately
Lonely.
