midnight blue
Roses are red, Midnight is blue,
There is something that I need to confess to you,
I’m not here to leave, or break your heart,
I’m here to stay, and give you a fresh start,
Show you what love is, not sex, big difference
Lighten your heart, not like the sun, but like the way the midnight moon glistens,
I’ll stay close, no distance,
When you talk, I won’t only pay attention, I’ll listen
To the voice of your mind, to the beat of your heart,
To the love that you seek,
And to the happiness that you need, I’ll listen
You’re not the sun in my sky, you’re the moon in my night,
lighting up my darkness, showing that black isn’t my only hue,
I show another color, roses may be red, but I show midnight blue
