Ferris Wheel
It seemed like a ferris wheel
Future was like the winter son
Dark before you wished it,
And past was like a toddler.
Insistently refusing to go to bed.

My mind on its ferris wheel
Dropping glasses just to hear them break
Writing to hear the scratch of my pencil
Always unforgivingly intoxicating
Lucid thoughts my remedy
