Goodbye.

I didn’t want to say goodbye,
but she had to go.
I wish she could stay for just another minute.
We did everything together
played in the fields,
walked in the woods,
painted our nails.
But now she has to go.

Yes we argued,
but isn’t that what sisters do?
Yes I told her I hated her before
but she knew it wasn’t true.

she was everything to me
The sister I never had,
my best friend.
But now she has to go.
She is leaving me.
She’s walking away,
it seems easy for her,

This is one of the worst days,
saying goodbye,
to the one I love the most,
to my other half.
