Landfill
"You're easy to talk to; you listen."
"What do you think?"
"I just feel like..."
The sky is always an uncertain muddy color here.
The air is thick and smells of unwashed secrets.
Careful where you step--you never know
When you might walk down into the center of some dark confidence.
Avoid the shadowy areas; demons lurk there.
Some of them are mine, most are not.
"They never listen."
"He always has to win."
"She doesn't understand."
Here is where you may leave your guilty consciences, your unpublished crimes.
You would never tell the one you wronged, but you must unburden yourself somehow.

These iron lockers are usually sturdy enough to contain the anger stored inside.
"What would you do?"
"In your mind, how does it seem?"
"What would she do if I said this to her?"
I'm sorry, we don't give advice here; we only absorb problems.
If you like, you may take a fortune cookie when you leave;
They hold comforting, cliché mantras--most people seem to find them comforting.
Thank you for stopping by, no, don't worry about the mess.
We'll sort it out and store it. You needn't look after it.
Have a nice day. I hope you never need to stop by again.
This one goes into a locker. I think there's an empty one at the end. We may need to get more soon.
This one goes into the bog. Watch your step.
This one goes behind the chain-link fence. Remember to steer clear of the acid rain.
