Depression MAG
Sadness is not beautiful.
A bloodstained bathtub is not art.
Self-hatred will not make you seem
intelligent,
or mysterious,
or burdened with great emotional
death.
It will bury you.
Suffocate you.
It will wring your bones dry
and fill your lungs with sand.
and I know that the world is a
terrible place. and I know
that the sky is far more
beautiful when broken
behind the sun
but please understand
that a flower
can never blossom
while kept
in the dark.
