Let Go and Prosper
Depression is a demon
Ripping your heart out and stabbing it
Painfully, it’s like that unexpected thief who steals everything from you
Leaving you with nothing
Destruction is all around
But when you feel a light brighter than you can imagine
You find yourself being pulled away from that asylum
It felt like there was a war
Yet now you realize you can overcome
Your tearing eyes no longer cry for more sadness
You’ve yearned for help
Now you have found your Savior
You look to Him every moment
Never regressing back to the old times
You listen to nature calling you from that deep, gruesome bottomless pit
It says “Carpe diem!”
You don’t whimper and feel like your insides are ripped from you
Let go of the past and move to what inspires you
You are no longer down and find yourself with a better temperament
Seeing yourself in a positive light
You uncovered that person you truly are
Leaving between the scraps of despair and agony
Take back your life and
Live
Believe and receive the good about you
Cast away your sorrows for eternity no matter how bad the circumstances
