On the Train to Cynicism
Love? Love! Love…I don’t believe in love at first sight—that’s lust. Am I cynical? I don’t believe in unconditional love—like a credit card, there is always a condition. Am I cynical? I don’t believe in grand gestures—they are just designed to make others one up each other. Am I cynical? I don’t believe in PDA—they are just flashing around their love. Am I cynical? I don’t believe in marriage—either way, people are going to be lusting after someone hotter. Am I cynical? I don’t believe in romance—it is just a plan to get into someone’s pants. Am I cynical? I don’t believe in long lasting love—when people are old, they are too lazy to cheat. Am I cynical? I think I am.
