A New Light
As the a mountain crumbles
So did you; you hit rock bottom
As a river flows and the water goes
So did your tears; you cried an ocean
As a sparrow on a winter night you begged for my forgiveness and asked for a new light.
As the earth shakes and cracks in half
So did my heart and shattered it was
As a gloomy day sings it's sad song
So did I and it was too depressing
As a lonely sea it lashes out in waves
So did I and I said a very harsh thing
As a winter becomes spring I forgave and gave you a new light.
As a flower grows in spring so did my love. And as a blind girl I can see that love is blind. I know you fell and and cried and you hate yourself for this. But I still love and still want you to be mine. You are my perfect half. You are my love. You are my true and only one.
