A Bird Without Wings

Love is a bird without wings;
it has no place in this world.
It swells up with infatuation,
then it loses its cause.
It becomes nothing but a shell;
a hopeless pawn,
in the game of emotions.
It stumbles about,
unable to support itself.
Finally, it dies.
It had nothing to live for
so it decided it had no choice but to die.
So I ask you,
are you a bird without wings?
A shell or pawn?
Or are you a dreamer, a flyer and achiever?
