Is(n't)
It's that kind of
ache.
A sort of empty ache.
Unfeeling.
And definitely empty.
Where there is just
nothing
that feels right.
But then,
nothing feels wrong either.
Nothing feels.
It's that feeling
after a thousand tears are shed.
Everything just feels
numb.
And you wish you could feel something,
something other than this apathy.
But then you don't.
Because it's a comfortable feeling.
But then it isn't.
And you want to do something about it.
But then you don't want to.
And you let it take you.
You become grey. You become an empty shell of you.
You let it take you, your apathy.
It becomes you. You become it.
That shadow
silhouetted there in blurry darkness,
that is me.
