She walks for years
Shedding all of her fears
Her steps create grooves within the ground
Her full, red lips come to a frown
"What must I do now"
Steady and still she draws a dagger
Piercing her chest, her gait comes to a stagger
"With my dying breath" says she
"I shall honor thee"
Carrying her dying voice
The wind howls
Never forgiving her for her choice

The author's comments:
This poem is of someone who has gone through a crisis in life and is walking off the pain and misery. Thus, she kills herself to make up for her betrayal. The wind will carrying on her dying voice for the world to hear (the howl of the wind).
