there was a girl
There was a girl
she sat in the back of the classroom
and barely ever payed attention
she just drew
on her journal
on the desk
and on her hands
she always wore bracelets on her arms
and had a pretty smile
though she never did
she never wore short sleeves
even in the summer
one day, I asked her
why she always wore bracelets
and she just looked at me weird
and walked away
and that day
I cried because I thought I hurt her feelings
so I didn`t talk to her again
and then one day she didn`t come to school
and everyone was whispering
about how she had used her fathers burglar gun
and she wrote about me
in her suicide note
she said I was the girl
who actually noticed her.
