Smiling
She smiled at me,
I know it was me,
She looked me in the eye,
Smiling.
...
It was a fake smile,
Deceit and loathing.
...
She hates me,
They all hate me,
But only she would,
Smiling with such hatred.
...
Her eyes,
Trained on mine,
Her mouth stretched,
-so perfectly-
Around her smooth face.
...
Me, why me?
Why smile at me?
Why not glare?
Everyone else did,
Must she raise hope?
...She mocks me...
What did she look like?
Brown hair,
Blonde hair,
Tall, short,
What did she wear?
...
I don't recall!
She smiled!
I remember!
...
I won’t see her,
But I know,
She’ll see me,
Smiling
