Moving On
April 4, 2014
A piece of me
had been torn away.
The possibility of it being gone forever,
is life changing.
Without that piece of love and hope
for a great future,
I’m lost.
The chance to have kids
or to start a family.
Without hat missing puzzle piece,
I won’t be able to experience my fantasy.
Thinking to myself,
did that missing piece find someone else?
Is that piece happier
unattached to me?
Have they moved on?
Pretending as if I don’t care,
I can’t stop questioning myself.
Am I better off without that piece
being torn away?
Yes, I am certain of it.
