Turquoise
Once in a while I’m a sunrise red.
I’ll go to the lake and breath the low fog.
Put my kayak to the water
and paddle through the lilies.
Never more peaceful.
Then sometimes I’m a fake turquoise.
Put on a stupid smile for a bunch of imbecile customers.
Novel idea: figure out what you’re going to buy
before you come to the store!
I prefer red, far more authentic.
Society seems to need blue,
the faker of the two.
