The art of poetry is so profound
Words arranged in a magical sound
The meaning behind them pierces your soul
A tragic story has just been told
Writing poetry is a way to express
Those thoughts in your head that have you a mess
So grab some paper and a pen
Write a the story or even pretend
Allow the words to flow softly and still
Write to relax or to give thrill
