I Am a Cat

To the naked eye I may seem simple
Most would assume I am quiet and humble
But don’t be fooled,
I am much more than meets the eye
I am always here for you
You can depend on that
It’s easy for me to tell when you’re happy
It;s easy for me to tell when you’re sad
Whatever it is,
I take it apon myself to help
I may annoy you with my constant presence
But it’s only because I enjoy being with you
I am odd
I do things I can’t explain
But I am a cat
Simple and plain
