Maybe if I laugh a little softer,
or scream a little louder,
or jump a little higher,
or cut a little deeper,
Maybe you will see that you and me
we are not the same breed.
That your DNA does not match mine,
and no matter how hard you try,
you could never squeeze all of me
into the cookie cutter of you.
The mold of a perfect person,
the flawless funnel of hard work and
self confidence
That I will never be you.
