My feet dangle and bash the side of the giant oak almost like a clock and its pendulum
The falling bark hits the forest floor like boulders crushing cars,
Generating noise in the soundless forest
Drawing the attention of everything living

My fingers glide along the chipped yellow board
Crunching the 50 year old paint to specs of dust
My hand slowly moves across the bruised and battered nails
The forest brings along a scent to hard to describe that relaxes your nerves
While Dirt and dust fill up my mouth giving me a unwanted meal

My eyes slowly drift up from the chipped and torn platform to the surrounding trees,
Their branches are long and jagged, and their bright green leaves light up the sky like fireflies at nightfall
Narrow trunks soar through the air creaking and crying with the motion of the wind.
The reddish tint of the afternoon sky gives the perfect backdrop to these giants.

I feel the wind brushing my check as I slowly start to drift away,
My eyelids slowly peek over my eyes, and glance one last look at the trees
Before everything begins to disappear.
Leaving only concrete walls, and constant whispers
