These.... Things. On my arms, they tell a story.
A story too private to share with others.
So I cover them, wearing long sleeves in the summer, never showing too much skin.
It's like a cycle.
Numbness, then relief, shame and pain. Then it just starts again.
I hide them. Never letting anyone see. How much my life has spiraled out of control. Never.
