Silence
You would think silence
Is bliss
But that’s an utter lie
Silence in when there is no one around
No one to love
No heartbeat to hear
No joy to find
Silence is where demons hide
When your mouth is shut up
So tight
That at night when you want to scream
All you can do is murmur
While tears streak your face
Silence is when there isn’t care
And there is no fear
And where there is no fear
There is no jubilation
And where there is no jubilation
There is no good
And if there is no good
There is no God
And if there is no God
What is there to live for?
Why are we alive?
Silence is like a wasteland
Where nothing lives
Nothing breathes
It’s a curse on the multitude
And death to the one
Never live in silence
Because silence
Is death
