Worry
Don’t worry about the over achiever teenager
Sitting on her bed waiting to procrastinate another project
About the way her brain controls her OCD
Don’t worry about the boy who sags his pants
Until his a** cheeks hang out
Blackening his lungs with every chemical extinguishing his soul
Don’t worry about the single parent
They will get by just fine raising 3 kids
But hey the Duggars raised what? 49?
Don’t worry about the boy who plays with Barbie dolls
He is gonna be one hell of a man
Don’t worry about the girl who states her emotions
In front of a bunch of strangers
by using words intertwined one by one
Do worry about the loved one holding a gun
Pressed on your dreams saying
No if I couldn't be neither will you
Do worry about that rich kid in the hallway
Buying his friends with his swimming pool
What about that nervous girl in class
To afraid to raise her hand because her scars will show
Even though she has the correct answer every time
What about that guy that looked in the mirror never pleased
With what he saw
Never was it a muscular, masculine, manly man
Do worry about the kid that was never
Taught what common sense was
Do worry about the girl that shares her secrets
With the pitch black sky of 3am with twinkling hope
That someone can here her voice
How about that girl that has the most beautiful smile
The pain she has endured to produce
Stories that no one has ever heard
Yet the man with the shopping cart down the lane
Probably has so much to say but the way
He blackened his lungs in his youth has led him to
No health care for his cancer
That girl that was getting the straight A's
That you didn’t worry about is now dead
Because her OCD took over the way she
Couldn't cut a straight line into her arm
But you still didn't pay attention because
The single mom raised her kids well
One was full of life
Now buried in the ground beside her
One is half way there dying in the lane
Because his brother wont send him any more money
The youngest is buying his a husband a new swimming pool
Because the last one couldn’t fit his stories inside
