What No One Else Can See
It’s silly for you to think that
I care about any of that—
(the superficial things
that everyone sees)
No—
I don’t care about any of that
Why would I?
When anyone else with eyes
can see it?
Silly—
I care about — or dare I say love—
your thoughts
and words
and
that look you get in your
eyes, when i read
to you
what I write.
Silly Goose—
There is too deep
a wonderful depth
in you
for me to care about
what everyone else can see—
For what you show me
no one else can see
and
dare I say,
I love it
