The Artist Across From Me
"The Artist demands"
She thought
As she held a paintbrush in her mouth
And a pencil in her hand
Creating graphite lines of vice
And paint strokes of virtue
"This is not right"
"Its never right!"
Her mind was fearless
Outreaching the universe
No boundary of sin to outline imagination
But her hands stained and tired
The window blew open
Fresh new hands came to collect the Creativity
"But I'm not done"
"Times up"
It said
And it took the Creativity just as fast as it had come
