What Has Gone Wrong

Gray clouds roll over the hills
Factories release their daily smog from the chimney top
The old man says, "Our economy has gone wrong"
The workers drive themselves to work
One by one cars fill up the highways
And the old man says, "The economy has gone wrong."
He throws a half drunken water bottle onto the ground
She leaves her dog's feces and continues her stroll
The old man says, "The economy has gone wrong."
The old man grew older
As I grew up with him
He taught me the values of life
Before his passing, he muttered
"Save the economy. It has gone wrong."
