It’s as if you’re an injection
You’re a cure

My cure

The perfect antidote
And I can’t get enough

Because when you smile
Laughter builds in my chest
And I can’t help
But let a smile break across my face

When you grab my wrist
I don’t cringe from
Pain inflicted there

Instead
I feel flowers
Sprout up on my skin
Growing stronger from your touch

And when your eyes light up
I see a galaxy of stars
All for me
