Burnt Lines and Misfit Rhymes
The world says that if things are meant to be, they’ll find their way back
So every time my body would shake without your touch
Or my mind just couldn’t seem to rest at 4 am
I’d tell myself that if my constellation cannot fathom into his,
Our hearts and hands eventually won’t burn
With the absence of touch and lust
And maybe another constellation would fit us just perfectly
Without betrayal, tears, and lies
Hopefully I’ll be able to fathom this time
Because I’m tired of looking at these burn lines
