winter
she is winter
no matter the
boiling temperature of
the rays of
sunshine with her
eyes of rusting
icicles frozen still
despite the summer
months shimmering she
is winter tattooed
upon her skin
with frostbite with
foggy windows full
of the crisp
coldness she is
winter throughout all
365 days with
the sun covered with
a blanket of
black charcoal hidden
by the limits
of the dead
ignited sky, snow
only builds upon
over the days
covering the sighing
windowsills.
